Senior Accounting Manager
The Senior Accounting Manager will manage the accounting activities of the department such as financial reporting, AP, AR, budget preparations, payroll and other accounting related dutiesas necessary.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
Oversee preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax returns.
Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
Accounting experience within manufacturing, a plus.
CPA preferred.
8 years or more of related experience required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
Public accounting experience.
Start-up experience.
The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 – $165,000. All positions come with a bonus plan and company stock options. Senior Electrical Engineer
The Senior Electrical Engineer will support the commissioning and then operations of a manufacturing plant for the production of anode battery materials in Moses Lake, WA. This will involve project technical support and small-project management activities for battery materials processing equipment. This individual will work with low and medium voltage equipment to ensure operational capability and proper power distribution within the plant and for specific unit operations.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Conduct technical reviews of requirements, specifications, and codes
Contribute to design requirements and specifications for equipment procurement and installation
Review vendor submittals of engineering technical data, equipment data sheets, general arrangement drawings, single-line diagrams, P/ID’s, etc.
Support development and review of project proposals to ensure proper design regarding power distribution, grounding, general equipment demands, etc. within the plant
Support operations, maintenance, and projects for day-to-day considerations for power loads and power distribution (primarily with 3-phase 480V infrastructure)
Support operations and maintenance for powered equipment needs
Oversee design, maintenance, and testing of on-site UPS systems, Load Centers, and Switchgear
Support construction, installation and commissioning of infrastructure, facilities and equipment
Support, design, and specify needs for electrical instrumentation in existing and new unit processes
Investigate equipment failure in support to reliability engineer
Interface with applicable Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
Participate in continuous improvement activities
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other engineering degree with relevantexperience
Minimum of 10 years of applicable experience
Experience with 3-phase 480V infrastructure
Working knowledge of and ability to read single-line drawings
Experience in selecting, designing and/or commissioning electrical distribution systems within a manufacturing or other facility (including main distribution panels, motor control centers, transformers, etc.)
Working knowledge of and experience with electrical codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 70, UL508A, UL2011, etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including listening and understanding
Ability to communicate the necessary information depending on the audience andpurpose
OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:
Experience with determining and/or complying with hazardous area classifications for combustible dusts and/or flammable vapors
Equipment commissioning and start-up experience
Experience in bulk solids processing and manufacturing
Experience with manufacturing power distribution designs and use, primarily with 480V or less
Ability to read and understand Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P/ID)

Program Manager (Business Development)
The Program Manager ensures the success of the customer qualification process using Group14’s product(s). This person will be the primary point of contact for Group14 customers in the qualification and production stages, and is accountable to ensure Customers, Business Development, R&D, Operations, and Quality deliver program milestones on time and on budget. This includes driving internal projects with Quality, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Finance. This role will support Group14’s efforts to supply our products to the largest battery makers, EV OEMs, and consumer electronics companies around the world.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Manage battery qualification programs for automotive and consumer electronics customers.
Support customers through Qualification, Start of Production, and Post-Production.
Act as the primary point of contact for supporting automotive and consumer electronics battery customers for assigned battery qualification programs.
Partner with Operations and Quality to identify and execute on opportunities to improve part quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Provide concise and effective communications to key internal and external stakeholders on deliverables, program status, issues/risks, and accomplishments.
Develop effective relationships with Customers across various functional departments (Ex: Technical and Commercial).
Support APQP process for new programs and/or program changes.
Coordinate onsite customer visits.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Experience supporting customers within the automotive and battery space.
B.S., M.S./MBA degree in Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent job experience.
Experience in either aerospace or automotive industries (OEM, Tier 1 or Tier 2).
7+ years of relevant industry experience with at least 3+ years in Program Management.
Proven track record in managing complex and cross-functional projects.
Intermediate to fluent written and verbal proficiency in German language and experience supporting customers in Germany.
OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:
Experience doing business with international customers.
Understanding of the Automotive qualification cycle and APQP process.
CRM and sales software experience.
Experience with SAP (or comparable ERP system).
