BAM-3 supplies SCC55® to over 100 battery manufacturing customers globally. Group14 delivers to customers representing 95% of worldwide rechargeable battery production.

BAM-3’s initial annual capacity is 2,000 tonnes of SCC55®, equivalent to 10-gigawatt-hours — enough to power millions of products per year, from AI-enabled devices to electric vehicles, eVTOLs, and grid applications.

Group14 acquired 100% ownership of the joint venture factory in August 2025, from long-standing partner and investor SK Inc. Originally established in July 2021, the joint venture, named SK Materials Group14, was formed to address global supply chain challenges amid growing demand for silicon battery materials.

Yes – the SCC55® material produced at BAM-3 is available to customers anywhere in the world.
