The awards recognize the technology breakthroughs that will help define the future of the industries they serve and will have a positive impact for consumers, businesses, or society at large in the next five years.
Highlighting innovations that are focused on lessening humanity’s impact on the planet, Fast Company has awarded an honorable mention to Group14’s flagship silicon battery technology SCC55™ in the Energy and Sustainability category. The award is the latest in a string of recent successes for the team — from a $100 million award from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in October to an inclusion in TIME’s 2022 Best Inventions last week.
